I loved his goal yesterday…..It reminded me of Dalian in his prime.
I honestly think we’ve got a world beater in him.

Again, it seems Watkins is damned with every missed opportunity. Haaland usually misses a few a game too. St Durán could have put Bournemouth to bed had he buried the chance Watkins teed up for him. They're both decent, seven out of ten strikers for a top seven team, it's about what you'd expect.

Unlikely. It was 0-0 at the time and about a minute before we actually scored.

I love Ollie more than many on this forum, but this kid will render him obsolete before the season is out.
There's just a crushing inevitability to it.

There are a number of ironies I think. Ollie doesnt score the goal Duran did yesterday. Ollie should of squared it to McGinn twice for tap ins, would Duran of done that, possibly. However, I thought we looked a much more cohesive unit and our overall attacking threat was greater after Watkins came on.

If there's a chance Duran can get a shot away everything else is blanked from his mind.  I like strikers who think and act like that but only if they score.

Don't think there was a clear passing lane from Ollie to SJM. Good positional play from their centre-back.

Yes, I thought that when I saw it back on TV even though at the time I was calling for him to square it.

Jesus what a player.  never doubted his finishing but the link play has been amazing in the 15 minutes since coming on versus Leipzig.

Whoever scouted him should get an extra slice of turkey for Christmas dinner.

I think he’d have buried at least two of Watkins’ first half efforts. I still like Watkins though

I can’t help feeling that we might be getting closer to cashing in on Watkins.
Love him as a player but I think it might well be a decision for us to take next season.

I think Rogers has been big for him, not just with the ball but geeing him up and being a mate on the pitch.

I’ll be honest I think they’re both really good, and different, and we need them both.

I agree, but we're going to very quickly reach a point where it's not going to be possible to as one is not going to be satisfied being second fiddle to the other.
