Do we? We apparently we have a valuation of him, as we will every player at the club, and are flat out rejecting offers that are supposedly very close to it. Doesn't smack of a club desperate to be rid of a player.

We've sold two first-teamers for appreciable money, and yet we've been quite willing to entertain interest for him. I'd also say that that interest has only come from Chelsea, West Ham and Saudi Arabia.

All this is fair, and yet - without wishing to give the impression that I really knew anything about Drogba or Osimhen at this stage - you really have to wonder how he's going to get to a high level with this attitude.
As many others have said, just haven't seen enough in him. Combine that with his attitude and let's hope the saudis come in or a low level Prem side who get desperate .

If we wanted him sold we’d have accepted the profitable offers.

Naturally we're all speculating, and this is all perfectly reasonable. However, I just hear that voice saying 'and yet we want to sell him'.

As I said earlier, if our first choice was to sell him, why didn't we just accept a nice easy doubling of our money eighteen months after buying him? It's not like we've been shy in selling other young players that we own as soon as a half-decent offer was put on the table for them.

I'm not saying we're going out there with a sandwich board flogging him to the first comer, but I'm not sure we're entertaining selling him to one of three joke clubs if we really thought he was the next Drogba.

Saudi Arabia was the only interest in Diaby, doesn't really prove anything.

Tim is proof of many that have made their mind up about Duran, and did the second he jumped passed Archer in the pecking order.

I agree, we will sell but only at our price because as mentioned, centre forwards are as rare as ricking horse shit.It might change if he really kicked off and made the situation untenable.
Which wouldn’t surprise me.

Don’t we tell every player/agent the value we’d accept at the end of each season?  They can then choose to seek a buyer or knuckle down.
I’m sure I read this in an article about either Monchi or Vidagany.

I read it as we say this to players who we are prepared to let go if they can sort out a deal.

Yeah, think it's just for players we're looking to move on.

I don't think there's a single player we own, or have ever owned that we wouldn't be "prepared to let go if they can sort out a deal".

He has the makings of a great player but he’s clearly unpopular, ill disciplined and nuts. We have progressed so much because of Unias system, and the players being able to fit into it. He can’t. I’d get rid and bring in someone who will.
