I do wonder if we are stalling past the 1st game of the season?

I think this has been the strategy. This probably means there won't be much movement on the Felix move until then either.

Seems a bit silly. Involve the want-away player in training while we miss out on giving the player we actually want time to gel with his teammates all just because Durán will inevitably score a 98th minute winner against us on the opening day.

Yeh, I don’t think so.

Young Duran and his stellar agent have made a bit of a mess of this one. Which London club can they flirt with next?

He’s likely going to have to come back to the club, receive a decent size fine and get on with it. I don’t think Emery is going to tolerate him if he acts a petulant twat. The kid has so much talent but he’s made a compete prat of himself. Maybe he still gets sold but it won’t be until late in the window now he’s seemingly blown his chances at Chelsea and West Ham.

What has he done to blow his chances? They offered us money, we turned it down. He's clearly a twat, but I can't see how his twattishness has made a move less likely.

He’ll end up at Palace after they have sold their few superstars.

The Chelsea move was supposedly derailed by them having doubts about his attitude, based on his behaviour at Villa. I don't remember seeing anything about a fee when he was linked with them.

Chelsea probably feel like they've dodged a bullet. Hopefully he's desperate enough to leave now that he goes to the Saudi club that was in for him.

Ah thanks, missed that. Still seems like West Ham were happy to take him, attitude and all, but we've been greedy and scared them off.
