I think the player would be represented by someone with some legal experience during the hearing, however I hope we don't try to Citeh it like you suggested. That would be embarrassing.

I'm not sure how legal advice where we feel we (and our player) have been singled out for additional punishment for an already contentious decision would be embarrassing, do we get bonus points at the end of the season for gentlemanly conduct or something?

Well because then we will be falling into the "it ay fayre" camp our dysentery yellow wearing neighbours always shout. I'm fine with the Counsel following normal procedures but hiring some Suits wannabe to "expose their incompetence and inconsistencies" is going to do fuck all really isn't it, especially in a closed hearing.

Cunha just got a 2 match ban for misconduct, so I expect the same for Duran.
That will be5 games out.

No ban, it would just be a fine.

They aren't shafting us. So the rest of your post is rendered meaningless.

This situation was already farcical, and if he ends up missing even more games because of shite decision that was backed up after the event, it becomes even more ridiculous.  Not much the club can do about it though, so maybe they should just not comment.

We can't do anything about it, but we can give 90 minutes of dogs abuse to Anthony 'I was born in Wythenshawe, which is basically Manc Chelmsley Wood, but I support Altrincham, honestly' Taylor is he ever turns up at Villa Park again.

He has form against us and I genuinely hope we ask for him not to ref us again.

He has form against many teams that don't play in red and aren't in Salford.

Normally for this sort of stuff where no one else in involved it's two weeks wages and a warning about future conduct.

Since when has making sure Duran gets treated inline with how others have been treated see previous examples posted on this thread been embarrassing.

This is prime example as to why society is in such a mess when you have people saying that defending yourself and making sure they get treated in a fair way is embarrassing

He didn’t leave the pitch when asked, is the issue. Saying he disagreed with the decision won’t help the defence, given they’ve already opined on this.
