When we found ourselves in times of trouble, going down with Stevie G
He came with words of wisdom, Emery
And from that hour of darkness he is now creating history
Speaking words of wisdom, Emery
Emery, Emery, Emery, oh Emery
Speaking words of wisdom, Emery

My favourite songs are always our managers name claret and blue army when done over and over and over. Good 10 minutes plus of it at Brentford.

I like to think my banging the beat out on the steel fence at the back kept it going.

I was in the Everton end that day, struggling to keep quiet. A very special send off for a great man.

While I wouldn’t suggest it for us, I like the Liquidator.

Back in the early 70s I remember waiting to get into the Hawthorns and Liquidator was being played over the tannoy. Perfect opportunity to sing our own words to 'their' tune: diddlediddlediddlediddlediddlediddlediddlediddle, f**k off West Brom....VILLA!
