Rashford and Asensio are both a bit tasty when it comes to making half a yard of space and shooting from just outside the box, whereas Watkins is very much a close range finisher. They should complement each other well.

Whereas you've complimented them well.

He really wanted to twat some of them for asking the same questions over and over. And I love that he basically said Rashford is just like any other player. That’s probably also what the player wants too. Less attention.

Don’t go bacon my heart.

I couldn't if I fried.

I'd like to declare a brief ceasefire in the butter wars to say I really enjoyed this.

That's done now. Back to hostilities.
This is the Christmas Truce of butter wars.
But it’s only scratching the surface of a truce. However we should join forces and stop the Rashy menace as it’s Rashford.

Back to my bread and HP sauce lined trench

We all believe in Emery don’t we ? And he'll be working on the details to ensure that we win the game and don't repeat  previous blunder v Spurs which resulted in four goals conceded.

Personally, I think that will be reversed. Given the availability of two teams and prior results, I cannot see Emery allowing us to lose against Tottenham again.

With the game scheduled for the evening, there will be a few more meetings today. These meetings will have all the details necessary. The players will have instructions and information that give the exact tactics of the match and ways the individual players as well as team play and spaces that can exploit Spurs.

I am confident that by the end of the day, we will be praising Emery for his winning methods
I would be utterly disappointed if this match was messed up by plays into Spurs hands as they are very beatable.

A quick and rampant start with a few goals up inside 30 minutes is precisely what is in order and Emery knows how to deliver it!

Let's have not just a good but fantastic evening, with an El Maestro masterclass!

Up The Villa!

Not sure where to post this so will put it here. An interesting read. The verdict doesn’t seem fair to me.

He has been at this and getting away with it for years now. It’s part of their set up, the problem is it works.
