From what I saw of Forest, particularly their midfield, they look wide open. I that's still the case on Monday I expect us to win comfortably. The underlying issues remain and it won't be games like this that allay the fears of a large proportion of the fanbase.

0-3

We're not playing well, they're desperate.

It's obliging Villa I fear.

2-1.

I know it's not popular on here but I'd go back to two up front for this and play Watkins and Archer with maybe Buendia just behind. We'd still have the three in midfield which should be enough if their midfield is as bad as suggested.

On paper we should win this one, but g'rr'rd's version of Aston Villa is often a disappointing one. I want to win because of what it would mean for Aston Villa ...as a club we need the 3 points. So come on the players do it for yourselves and the fans! UTV!

But you know he would play Old Man Ings.

Stevie G at Anfield last night to see Liverpool play the weakest team in the group. I reckon he wasn't talent spotting but was 'formation' spotting as we are playing probably the weakest team in the league next!!

Liverpool played a 4,2,3 1.

Bereft of his own ideas and subject to injuries he might go for:

                                          Martinez

Cash                  Konsa                               Mings             Young

                             Luiz                         McGinn

      Buendia                     Coutinho                       Ramsey

                                   Forrest Gump

Let the full backs attack and give McGinn licence to attack when appropriate. Have Archer on the bench ready to replace Gump after he bangs his head off the corner flag.  :D

If we win, their manager will be sacked. If they win, ours will be.

I like their manager, I don't like ours. I quite like Forest but I love the Villa. It's a right pickle.
