Is there a better headerer of the ball from someone of his height?

The more I watch it, the better it gets. The question should be, is there a better header of the ball?

Keeper had no chance.

Great finish for thw goal as that was hard
to do. but from the highlights i saw. Looked rusty and poor at times. His touch was so bad at times.

Needs minutes desperately

Everybody looked shit last night, I wouldn't read too much into it. On the back of last night'sperformance, I wouldn't pick any of Maatsen, Bailey, Onana, Duran or Barkley, which would be a bit of a problem as that's a quarter of our first team squad. They'll all be fine, it was just good to see little Emi back, and playing the majority of the match will do him the world of good.

And he didn't get injured, despite one or two heavy challenges. That was all I was worried about.

You need a few of those challenges in you bring the confidence back, they're an essential part of his recovery and where a game like last night is vital for someone in his position.

Absolutely, i love watching him buzz around when he's on it. You can see he's not there, yet, but coming along nicely.

Someone on here (I think) once described him as a 'wasp in a bottle' type player.  I like that.

There was one challenge on him last night that was a proper old fashioned, Vinny Jones special. Not dirty, but straight through him to win the ball, and sent Emi into the air with his legs over his head and everything. I winced when I saw it, but he got up straight away and carried on like nothing had happened. Which was nice.

Good to see emi back but that free kick was awful. Not sure why he was given the task of taking it as it was a great opportunity
