Ipswich to stay up and Everton to go down.    He might do alright there

Is that 21 million deal IF all the add-ons get paid out on? One will obviously be avoiding relegation.

He's a Premier League player now, and performed brilliantly against Bayern. So yes, his value has increased, especially to a club in desperate need of reinforcements to try and avoid the drop , in the January window.

It's only a couple of million more than they agreed in the summer.

Im stunned how any club would pay over 20m for him after how bad he has been in PL. Its a great deal for us

If / when Ipswich go down, they'll have probably one of the most well-balanced Championship teams you could get.

People say he's been bad in the Prem as if he's been a regular. Kellyman went for roughly the same price and how many first team games did he play?

Last 2 or 3 performances he was truly shocking. Club has done well to get a good fee and hopefully move on. He'll do well for McKenna who's clearly a very decent manager.

Amazing that one game, and the only one where he has looked anything like a footballer, has increased his value so much.

The £21mil tweeted out is ambiguously worded on whether £21mil is the base value or the total after add-ons. It might have been the same deal originally offered to Hull by Ipswich but we only needed to match the base value.

Either way, it's a £5m profit plus add ons deal on a player that clearly hasn't lived up to what Emery thought he could.

I'm sure that will soon change.
