That flat-roof pub looking thing adds fuel to the moving stadium theory. 2 years, or will it be like the language cabins at my old school, temporary for at least 20years.

In the meantime, it will make Villa Park more intimidating for away fans.

I think i might wait until it's actually finished before being miserable about it.

Also that is not instead of the stumps venue is it ?

It's the temporary solution that's been added between the old stumps building being used as a family zone and the new warehouse thing opening. It might stay in some form until whatever happens with the stand in the long term as a welcome the players thing which they clearly decided was a good idea after trialling it last season.

In what way? the warehouse thing is already being worked on so that's definitely happening. The only way the north stand doesn't get replaced in the next 10 years is if we move completely in my opinion. As many have said you don't make the sort of apppointments to the board we did in April and then do nothing more than tinker at the edges of the stadium.

The stumbling block will be convincing the council/mayor/government to put a meaningful budget in place to improve transport and then actually get the work done.

Once the new ‘Warehouse’ has been completed, I can see this being repurposed into more hospitality next season.

Part of the planning conditions are that it can only be there for two years.  Which is good, as it looks like a Rhyl bingo hall.

You'd think we'd have Stella in the ground with their connection not pissy Carlsberg

I knew I’d seen this before I just couldn’t put my finger on it, and then it came to me,
it’s definitely a remodelling and mock up of the first motorway services at Newport Pagnell built in the 1950s

Fair play to the Villa going for the retro feel
