I'm surprised there isn't rail seats on the lower north yet as most everyone will be standing in there next season. It is a terrace after all.

I'm getting really bad vibes about how the club is going about things off the pitch at the moment. I was talking to a friend yesterday who has 2 season tickets in the lower North stand near to the away fans. He's had those seats for about 10 years. He's received a letter from the club saying he can no longer have those seats and he will have to relocate. He's still awaiting a list of where he can go and how much he will have to pay. I told him that those seats were being made corporate and there's a package called "The Cells" He had no idea about that as it doesn't get a mention in his letter. I think it's really bad form from the club and they seem to be treating fans like him with total contempt. It's so upsetting to hear stories like this. We should be enjoying the time of our lives after years of struggle.

The letter will have given him a date when the Ticket Office will ring him to discuss with him his options to move within the North Stand. It’s not brilliant but it’s better than nothing.

But the cells are pretty much already sold out aren’t they? He might have thought it was worth paying double to keep his seat. He should have got first refusal.

The new seats look darker, which I like.

I got the impression from the Heck video that they were replacing all the seats this summer. I hope so.

Another video of Heck has appeared on LinkedIn flogging the hospitality in the Witton Lane Stand. Looks nice.

Howver, at some point, it would be good to know what they are doing for the 28,000 regular fans regarding improvements to the "stadium bowl".

Running hot water?
Minimising queue at the "food and beverage" outlets?
Functioning WIFI?

There will be plenty of photos soon from tomorrow night.

Looks like they've only altered The North seating so far as that won't be used for the gig.

Didn’t they struggle to sell the new corporate stuff last season?

What makes them So sure there’s going to be a big take up on this
I’m not saying there won’t be I know nothing about it to be honest and I know this is the way things are going, but you still got to get bums on seats and money out of wallets

I think it was mainly the GA+ (Terrace View & Lower Grounds) they struggled to sell and that was probably because the concepts were a bit flawed. TV comes with pretty shit seats and there was the issue of it being in the Holte and taking the existing concourse.

I think the only new GA+ is in the lower North and seems to have sold well.  I'd guess as it's the cheapest way to get a ST.

I think everything else is just a rejig of existing corporate space, converting boxes to longest etc.  I think people on here have said previously corporate usually sells really well, but it will be interesting to see how they get on after a significant price hike.  Risso knows more about this stuff.

As a general point, I think one thing that would hold back GA+ sales is that if you buy a GA+ ST, you lose your place on the ST waiting list.  If I was on the waiting list and was thinking of it for a season or two to tide me over, this would be a deal breaker for me if I was top 10-15k on the waiting list.

Also, I think the same applies if an existing ST holder wants to convert to GA+ to try it.  I don't think there's any way to convert back to standard pricing in the future if they can't afford it in the future.  The club obviously wants to lock people in, but surely it must be counter productive?  (I don't think people should be able to convert from GA+ to standard if they didn't have a standard ST before)

The easy answer to this is fuck all. Corporate is all they care about and Heck's video makes that pretty clear.

Some of the hospitality places had 100% increases this summer too.
