Unless something strange happens, he's playing both legs against PSG. And against Palace. And in the next round of those competitions if we get there.

Against that he is the only one getting in the position to miss the bloody chance in the first place.

Rather than have a player who misses chances others aren't there to attempt, wouldn't we be better retaining possession until we can work the ball to someone who won't spoon it into the stand or into the grateful arms of the keeper?
We've 11-15 games left. If fit Ollie will start most of them. Difference now is that instead it being all about relying on Ollie and Duran scoring we now have numerous threats and can swap things around more. We no longer have to flog Watkins to death as we have previous seasons.

In real game time I cannot recall too many when he found someone in a better position and didn't play them in - I think he is our top assist player as well as top goal scorer. Let's take the two most recent examples of "glaring" misses. Preston.the header he missed completely had no one either side of him to take the chance spurned, and the miss when clean through had most Villa players trailing in his wake by about 25 yards. On the whole, his decision making is excellent, his execution is lacking.

He's constantly shooting from stupid angles when others are better placed.Edit: I know all strikers do that. It's just he's so...not that good at it.
