“like their name is on the Champions League”

Not sure he understands the metaphor here!

Yeah, I raised a metaphorical eyebrow at that comment.

How does Micah Richards gets away with his absolute lazy punditry? The bit he did on second pen was totally embarrassing.

I genuinely don't know. Maybe he is on to make the other 2 look better than they are.

I'm more concerned by his cardigan.

I had a laugh at the commentary during the forest game on MOTD. He was willing a goal for Forest in the last minute as they won a corner completely against the running play, trying his hardest to temp fate and claim their name is in the bag for Europe. Then Everton break away and score! Love it!

He's like Marmite: black (which helps with inclusivity, which is important on TV) and divides opinion.

I don't care for him, but nobody could claim he's boring. Better value than someone like Danny Murphy, who is just an ear infection in human form.

Richards is absolutely insufferable. At least Murphy only speaks when he's spoken to.

A lot of the goals scored by the away teams today were in front of their own supporters. It's the least players can do for the fans that do all that travelling.
