In terms of league position, I think right now we're doing about as well I expected at the beginning of the season (NO insight). The surprise for me is that we're still in the CL and FA Cup, to boot 🙂

That was 2 years ago when we all saw it coming.

Or last year when pundits thought we would fold to Spurs or ManU despite Chelsea being a big threat.

This year should not be a surprise - we have a bigger and broader squad with more quality. Whether we can put it together for another 15 games is an ask

A couple of special blinders for Deeney for team of the week.

Liam Delap (Ipswich): Scored a massive goal in a monumental game for Ipswich. I was desperate to put Marcus Rashford in for the first time but he only played 65 minutes so that will have to wait.

Delap was subbed on 72 minutes.

Neco Williams (Nottingham Forest): He has been excellent all season for Forest and never gets spoken about. He moved across from left-back to right-back against Manchester United, dealt with it and just delivered again.

If I was a Forest fan I'd be far more worried about Newcastle and Villa than Chelsea
