Hate to say it but the coverage of us on Talksport on Tuesday ahead of the game was great.  A lot of chat about us, linking in with Gabby from Bern.  Then on the Drive show they dedicated a full half hour to us before the game.

7 mins 42 seconds, including the tribute to Gary Shaw.

WTF is the idea of an analysis screen on which you can't see the players?

Show it on the full screen.

I am just watching it now and can’t see anything. I came online to see if anybody else was moaning like me. Thankfully they are

That kind of talk will get you banned

Of all the ex-Villa players around I really wish gabby didn't have such a high profile. A waster of an individual who spent over half his time in the first team squad undermining managers and taking the piss.

The bar with Gabby is so low that I'm just impressed every time I hear him now. He can actually speak at length and make decent points. Whenever he was interviewed as a player, he came across as being thick as mince.

Who was that woman on just now talking about Atalanta’s injury problems? It sounded like she knows her stuff and was almost like watching a grown up Football show not fixated on Premier league teams.

I'm not watching, but I would hazard a guess that it's Nicky Bandini. She's an Arsenal fan and specialises in all things Serie A, so it would make sense.

That’s my guess too. She’s decent on the Guardian pod, as is Robin Cowan, and that woman who co-commentated on some of our European games last season. That Northern woman, as Basil would say.

Lucy Ward. She's pretty good, as you say. More knowledgeable than many others where Villa were concerned.

I think I am being a bit thick here. Just tried to view Thursday CL MOTD on iPlayer and can't as not available. Checked TV and Laptop.

It seems that the expire time is very short. Anyone shed any more on this?

Gameday Gourmet on Football Focus was at Villa Park today. Went to The Grove in Handsworth, Blue Marlin for curried goat, and Ronnie's Wood-Fired Pizza in Stourbridge. All looked very tasty and got an enthusiastic thumbs-up.

I didn't pick the restaurants. The Blue Marlin in Cayman does a great curried goat as well, must be an international chain.
