What a pathetic declaration by Sussex, would be pissed off if I was a fan. The points system that awards eight points for a draw is a load of shite, it just encourages boring captaincy and is dreadful for fans. But cricket doesn't care about them.

Presumably it incentivises efforts like Worcestershire's today though.

Agreed Gareth, great fighting spirit and I hope we stay like this for the rest of the season.  To not lose having been bowled out so cheaply in the first innings is a miracle in itself.  Cracking draw.

I know as much about cricket as a Blue knows about personal hygiene but there should never not be a D'Oliveira playing for Worcestershire.

Not really, as a draw was literally the best result they could have got, they'd have tried their best anyway.

There has been a D'Oliveira on the books, either as player or coach, non-stop since 1964. Talking of family connections I see Michael Vaughan's boy played for Somerset. Hopefully less of a twat than his dad.

Just seen footage of that LBW decision - an absolute shocker.  There's absolutely no.way the umpire could tell if that would have gone on to hit the stumps.
