A nice conspired draw with full bonus points for both sides with the other two losing would be just right :-)

Worcs all out for 307 so 2 batting points for them and 3 bowling points for warks.

Watching it in the background on youtube and the only thing I've really noticed is that the pitch is in a terrible state. The wicket is just about ok but the rest of the infield is dreadful, for any of the Pears on here, have there been problems with it over the summer?

Spends a good proportion of the year flooded (including a significant chunk of early season) so not surprised it's not in great nick

Played ok considering the winter and spring bashing it got, no alarming innings scores (except a couple where we batted v badly lol) & can’t remember any pitch related injuries so think it’s ok.

Honours pretty even so far

Yeah, what I've watched has been a really good game, Taylor looks a real threat for you. That said Van Beek has had an awful first over here.

It's the line of mud between the wicket and the keeper/slips that I was surprised by, along with what looks like a patch at the end of one of the other strips that looks really rough. As I say the wicket they're playing on looks fine though, which is the important bit.

Would imagine that was a result of all that silt and mud that was still on the ground in March time being topped up with the recent rains, probs a tad soft to get the machinery over to keep the cut strip prepared.

Upper hand with you guys now, particularly with the nemesis Hain yet to get out there…our target is 9 wickets in the 110 overs for the bowling points and then see where the game is at.

Taylor has become a very good signing…van Beek can be up and down, hopefully he is up again after lunch :-)

Massive wicket for you getting rid of Davies after getting rid of Rhodes pretty cheaply.

Not sure how much it will matter though because the weather will almost certainly mean this ends as a draw with rain predicted this afternoon and for the next 2 days.

Youtube comments are fucking weird, Hamza Sheikh came in for his 3rd innings ever for the bears and someone posted "Oh dear shaky Sheikh". Who the fuck does that about an 18year old kid in his 2nd match?

Would be good if we can at least get your 110 overs in…obv I’d like see 9 wkts

& they manage to avoid rain at Durham as they have Lancs on the ropes

Our game is 100% ending as a draw, I reckon 30-40 overs tomorrow and less than that on Thursday which should be enough to finish our Innings but not much more. Lancs and Kent look fucked and Notts will struggle to get more than a draw so I think we could both be looking fairly safe on Thursday.

Hopefully!

If our other nemesis Bedingham can build on his 170*+ and grind Lancs into the ground that would be nice…if Essex do the same to Notts even better
