Despite being atrociously shite we might well have increased our points advantage over Notts and Lancs (and the seemingly doomed Kent), so could stay up by default. Still, need massive changes before next season whatever happens.

Lancs have just conceded a stand of 425, they deserve to go down for that alone. Both them and Notts are relying on the weather to avoid defeats, Kent as well but they're fucked regardless.

Bears have seemingly realised that we're actually in a game and put on a decent partnership eventually.

I’d say it’s still very much game on, forecast looks ok for tomorrow

Bears have recovered, and should at last force the Pears to bat again.

Elsewhere, Somerset seem to have thrown away a good position and may be handing the title to Surrey.

As a Pear, I'm quite happy with a draw.  Get the points on the board.

Can we get any more bowling points?  I thought it was first innings only or is it the first 110 overs?

Patient start from Rhodes and Sheikh (who looks a top prospect to me, his technique is excellent for his age) has taken Bears to a lead of 50 with 7 wickets still in hand. Reports are still suggesting a spell of rain in the early afternoon so this looks to be destined for a draw unless there's another incredible collapse.

Lancs look fucked to be honest, home to somerset and away to you lot is a tough pair of fixtures when they realistically need to win both to give themselves a chance.
