One of my best moments with Tyrone Mings was when we played Palace and Zaha with his blood red eyes tried to bully our centre halves but Big Ty weren’t having it and they constantly tussled for the ball with Ty coming off strongest.

To be fair Zaha had good days against Mings too, he rattled him beyond belief at Villa Park a couple of years ago getting him sent off.

Mings was brilliant under Emery until his injury. I know Torres passing ability is huge for us but I wouldn't be surprised if Mings got back in.

Rattled?  ;D

Jesus.

We won 3-0 but Zaha did get to Mings who Mings was sent off.

Never seen Mings rattled in my life.

Zaha was being a twat as usual, and Mings was overly physical as he sometimes is. That’s all.

The ref didn't help in that game either, just let Zaha do what he liked and almost run the game himself.

During the no fans but piped in noises by Sky. Felt the first coming together was weird for both being booked. Also noticeable with three Watkins assists (two don't count officially) including one very similar to his goal for England the other week, but he lifted it too high allowing the keeper to save.

Has Tyrone travelled to the USA or is he continuing his rehab at Bodymoor? I don't think he's been involved in any group training yet?

I didn't see him in the squad aircraft pics, so probably at BMH.

I'm wondering if there has been a setback we aren't being told about?  Back in March he was sharing social media stuff of himself doing lateral movement exercises etc.  Four-five months later and he can't even train with the squad.

Posted previously ... and with the same caveat that I'm not claiming to be ITK ... a mate runs TMA (Tyrone Mings Academy) and when I spoke to him a few weeks back, he said Ty was fully and fit and would be ready to start the season.

Adding that SUE has told him he would be a starter. However, for the first half of the season, he would not start every game if they were playing twice a week.

When I asked about who he would be paired with, he said that Torres was bought in to be a LB, so he (my mate) expected Torres to shift across to LB (or possibly they would set up with three CBs).

I know Torres started a few games at LB when he first got into the team, though I had always assumed that was to get him used to the physicality before expecting him to match up with strikers like Callum Wilson. UTV

Yeah, not buying any of that, sorry.  If he's not participating in pre-season training, let alone games, there is no way he's close to ready.

Okokok.

I've subjected all the trip pictures to exhaustive, in-depth analysis. I've delved into them just about as deep as a man with double vision who isn't wearing his glasses can.

And, the players I cannot see in the pictures (aside from those still away due to tournaments) are;

Mings, Hause, Sousa, Kamara, Duran, and Archer.

Happy to be proven wrong if someone can spot any of them.

Archer is there he was sat next to Onana on the plane I think.  I’m also certain I saw Kamara.

There’s no way that Kamara goes and Mings doesn’t.
