He has such a small turning circle which allows him to wriggle free of tight situations, it's akin to a ballerina's pirouette at times perfectly counter-balanced by an Oliver Hardy sized arse.

Actor Dougray Scott on the BBC predictions page. No idea if he's serious or if it's Scottish sense of humour, but it made me laugh.

Quote
Dougray on Villa midfielder John McGinn: We had him at Hibs and he is a brilliant player, doing a great job for Villa. This is no disrespect to Villa, who are having a brilliant season, but I think he will end up at Manchester City, Liverpool or Manchester United - or he will go to Real Madrid or Barcelona; he is that good

I think he's being serious. Typical dismissive comment of us that we should be used to by now by someone who doesn't know much about us.

That's a typical comment from someone who doesn't even have a passing interest in what Aston Villa are building.

He's a big Hibs fan and his family have a history with that club, but then he's also a Man Utd fan, so..... speaks volumes, I think.

Yeah, I've never met anyone called Dougray who was sound.

Another 10/10 performance.

What else can you say?

He is in the form of his life and everything he does just comes off.

In the post match interview SJM said that he had the same opportunity in a Europa game this season and laid it off. Said the Villa analysts advised him that for the same move to turn and shoot instead.

an anecdote that explains perfectly why Emery is the real deal.

Chelsea paid Bayer Leverkusen £75.8m for Havertz.
Arsenal paid Chelsea £65m for Havertz.

Villa paid Hibs £2.7m for Meatball.

Havertz's 36 goals for Arse/Chelski have each cost £3.91m

McGinn's 22 for Villa?
£122,727
