:) It's CDBF I feel sorry for, he'll have to get a whole new wardrobe once he returns his boobs.

I wonder whether the markets crashing everywhere will have an impact on our lads. It fucked Lerner the last time.

You have to imagine everyone but Citeh and the Geordies might be affected, although the latter's funds might be limited because NEOM and the other batshit building ideas is taking all the PIF funds at the moment.

I'd imagine they've been shorting the markets so are probably quids in.

Maybe, but I don’t doubt that the regime has been shorting various stocks before announcing tariffs. They run the SEC now, so no one will be holding them to account.

The crash in Bank of America shares cost Lerner about 80% of his net worth I think.

His divorce also cost him insane money, too, IIRC.

And then to make it worse, his new girlfriend didn't like football or Randy being involved in it.

Without knowing the exact nature of their investments it's difficult to say how much they've 'lost'. In reality, they're probably just giving back gains they've made previously e.g. the S&P was just under 3,600 in Oct. 2022, it's currently just above 5,000. Even if they're heavily invested in funds that are broadly long on equities, I'd expect those funds to be hedged to some degree. We do know Nas is one of the largest shareholders in Adidas with roughly 6m shares. If he can survive a decline in its price from €320 in Aug. 2021 to €99 in Oct. 2022, I suspect he can probably cope with it 'crashing' to €185.

He would have been better off if he'd given everyone coming to Villa Park, whether for a match, a conference or going to the shop, £20 and sending them on their way.

To paraphrase I think it was Simon Jordan in the case of Lerner

What’s the easiest way to become a multi millionaire?

Be a billionaire and buy a football club.
