There must be a compelling reason for NSWE to accept the extra investment, too, and I am not sure it is the money that is swinging it, in fact, I am pretty sure it is not that. They might want to spread the cost a little but to the extent of having a third, equal partner?

There has got to be some sort of strategic element to it, and it has to be structural and hard hitting, it won't be anything to do with being able to sell naming rights or that sort of thing, it must surely be that there's a bigger picture Comcast want in to, AND that thing has to be something big enough to warrant Wes and Nas being prepared to give up more shares for.

I had a quick look at the very, very long list of companies Comcast own and included were Sky Sports and Peacock, so I'm not sure they are allowed to own a majority stake in a PL football club. Bloody good partners to have though. My money is still on a new stadium build, I just hope Heck hasn't pissed off all our traditional fans by the time it's built.

Yeah, it's only worth serious money if you move ground. Not that I want to.
Is that because the ground becomes know by the brand - whereas villa park will always still be called villa park even if that wasnt the offical name?

If the media etc use the new name then it will stick, only us tradional supporters will still use Villa Park. Or it could be joined like Emirates Old Trafford.

Ideally we build a new ground on the current site , move out for 2 years and let them crack on or do what spurs did , build next door , that was perfect .

Where could we possibly go for two years?

What about the new 200,000 capacity stadium the rags are building. We could use that

Tim can't process that many variables, sadly.

Maybe ask wolves to ground share? Not ideal but i doubt they would say no for a ground share agreement and say no to rent

Not sure how that works with FFP though?

Much too big for us, plus the fact driving from Stratford - upon -Avon and parking the Rolls Royce in such a dubious area is a no no

FFP is not a problem, the costs of renting and all other associated costs would be allowable
The cost of building the new ground and any borrowing associated with it wouldn’t be.
It looks like Molineux is the only ground share option locally.
It would be terrible though.
