I know the causality is not as simple as this, but growing revenue is important to sustain competitiveness. In that light

Would you choose £79 for these four games and we’re there again next year or the year after; or

£35 for these four games and we’re not back in the CL for a decade?

I’m on the fence.

I love our owners. They are only human and will make mistakes. I do think that they are allowing heck to run the commercial side i bet hecks probably done a massive powerpoint presentation persuading them the benefits of fucking the fans over.

I wont turn on nassef and wes they saved our club. Without them we wouldnt be in the league let alone playing CL

So you expect NSWE to get him on the phone soon then, presumably? Unless they also want to “fuck the fans over”.

I expect them to have a conversation and take into consideration all the backlash this has caused. Its not too late for the club to amend the prices. If they do hold their hands up admit they made a error thats good for taking accountability- hopefully the fans will just move on and not focus too much on it were it to happen.

Will it happen? Maybe not for the first few games but but they may change this for the later games

As if that piddling amount relatively speaking is going to make the difference.

I reckon that there is no chance that an owner that rage sacked a manager and had him still catch the coach back, then personally went after one of the best coaches in the world and seems determined for us to be successful wasn't part of the ticket price conversation.

I reckon there’s every chance.

He pays Heck to handle things like ticket prices. He doesn’t pay him to sack managers.

Even if he was fully aware, how would he have any comprehension of how that cost relates to the average fan in terms of cost?

There's a big difference between being at a game first hand to witness the latest dismal drubbing, and then to rage sack somebody afterwards; to telling your CEO that he needs to increase sales but not really being too involved with the details of how he does it.

Sawaris will know exactly what's going on, to try and defend him by saying he won't know is a bit naive

Was it a rage sacking?  I would imagine it would have been discussed for a while at the club?  Surely Gerrard chose to get the bus back?  Hes hardly short a bob or two - sure he could have got an uber with some of his severance pay.

Heck will be held accountable for how he achieves against the objectives - I think the owners would only act if they have lost faith in his ability to reach those objectives.

Who was the last manager to get sacked on the actual evening after a night game?

I'd say Heck is a useful lightning rod for the criticism

The idea that the owners are involved in detailed discussions concerning ticket prices is ludicrous.
They have set revenue targets , Heck is attempting to meet those targets, they will know that you can not make an omelette without breaking some eggs.
However I doubt that they would have expected the PR disaster that has followed and you can also believe that they would not be happy about it.
