Sad to see schoolmates like Perce and Badders fall-out over grammar. Surely it wernt like this in '86!

No, gangs are dividing along grammar lines all over east Birmingham to this day.

True. I've had run-ins with the Tysley Transitives and the Mad Mental Appositives of Hodge Hill in my time. Tasty firms.

The Comma Crew are a right bunch of bastards.

Never mind the Z!U?L;U:S

I heard that they'd been arrested and been given a long sentence.

Oh, bravo!

In fairness that's just before it was demolished so it's bound to look rough.

It wasnt demolished was it? Didn't they just remove the roof and build another tier? The one pictured was built in a hurry for the 66 world cup. My best memory of it was being at the back of the Holte and cheering whooooooo haaay as the ball would roll off it into Witton Lane at least once in a game. Doug Ellis managed to build a replacement that is even less loved. Some achievement that.

Getting him to film something, I think shows that they’re not quite in touch with the fans.

I agree, but they’re probably after the wider exposure than appealing to the core fans.

86? I'm flattered you think we're that young. :-)

There isn't enough land round the NEC, there's no infrastructure except Resorts World, which I doubt can cater for 50,000 people in three hours  and take a look at the access roads onto the M42 whenever there's a show there.

They’re building a new junction close to the nec though what’s that for?

Bloody hell all that disruption for them!  Is that so the blues fans can get back to night shift straight after the games more quickly.
