I thought it was for the HS2 Station which seems to be in the middle of it.

It's been an interesting journey watching them not understand half the rules at first to becoming rabid "hide behind the coucher's" like the rest of us.Don't get me wrong, they are still the ManC of non league/lower leagues, but to watch a couple of Americans fall in love with the game has been quite interesting.I quite like Ryan Reynolds too. He is very funny. I imagine his humour is not to everyones taste though.I have no idea who the other guy is, other than he's in some American made Sunshine program, or something. He seems pleasant enough though.I certainly don't hate Wrexham as much as some people do though.
55,000 at Wrexham is absolutely delusional. Unless they are going to be giving tickets away for free then it's pure willy waving from their owners.

The TV show was/is a smart move to make the club work. There is only so much they can get from Wrexham fans and the far more numerous Wrexham-based fans of Liverpool et al. So use the fame and contacts of the two owners to create Premier League tourist interest in a small town club at the arse end of the game.I think 55K is what they could get to on that site (although prob have to evict some students). I don't think they're suggesting building it in the foreseeable. So far it's felt to me like a nice story, grounded in reality and benefiting a deserving place.

I thought that once they were back in league football, they might tone things down a bit and 'let the football do the talking'. The fact that it is still continuing has got me questioning whether the documentary and TV stuff is actually the priority there.
Newcastle haven't announced it, The Telegraph are reporting that it's the preferred option.Meanwhile, we can't even keep up with Wrexham...QuoteWrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney say their long-term ambition is to increase the club’s stadium capacity to as much as 55,000.A new 5,500 all-seater stand is already planned at the Racecourse Ground as a replacement for the Kop end, which has been unused since 2007.But after delays to the start of work, a temporary 2,289 stand has been erected instead.Wrexham’s Hollywood co-owners are currently publicising season three of the 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary - charting the club’s promotion from League Two - and have outlined their future plans for Stok Racecourse.“We have a plan in place right now that would eventually work from stand to stand, so eventually you get all four sides,” McElhenney told American entertainment website Collider.“It's hard to say for sure, but we think we could get between 45-55,000 people in there”.With tickets for matches in high demand, Reynolds said he wants to be in a situation where “the whole town could come to the game”.
