Composure for the quality of that try at the end was something else. Brilliant.

Glad we played you last week now. Having said that, France could (and probably should) have neem out of sight by half-time.

That Celtic game last week really had a big impact on you didn’t it?😊

It's been quite the day, cheering for England and Blues. I think I need a lie down. :)

All I'm saying is that one of my uncles was named George William Armstrong. (that's actually true)

Good name - George Armstrong was on Ron Saunders’ coaching team in 1981

It helped that the conditions mitigated against running rugby.

Funny how the French lads knocked on far more than us.

I could watch Lawrence’s hand off of Ramos all day long and the DuPont fan club is awfully quiet.

Fin Smith’s specialist subject on Mastermind would be ‘Aston Villa from 2015’.

That hand off was possibly the best I've ever seen.  I actually laughed when it happened, seeing Ramos swatted like a fly.

This England team is still nowhere near where it should be, but it was a decent win

The summary on Irish TV was that England are improving step by step although they weren't convinced wrt their overall trajectory as a team, but that it was "a breakthrough game for them at the No. 10 position".

I agree, I think he's still being a coward with his back row subs, There's absolutely no need to have Chessum (who covers 2nd row and 6), Cunningham-South and Ben Curry all on the bench, leaving us with few options to change things in the backs. He needs to pick between the last 2 and add another back.

On top of that we need to stop being so negative for long stretches of the game. We barely tried to play any rugby until France scored and then once we started to keep the ball in hand we quickly realised that we could get at them and finished the half well. Then we reverted for 10mins in the 2nd half before Fin Smith decided to just play his natural game and suddenly we started cutting through them.

If he can take the shackles off them this squad has the potential to be very good.
