You'd still assume the bottom half will be won by Lewis or MVG.

The top half is wide open, stuck £2.50 E/W on Huybrechts at 25/1.

I am a Taylor fan but don't have a preference who wins it - I just hope MVG isn't the winner - can't stick him.

First match my missus has ever watched and Taylor gets knocked out, great stuff.

Lewis hasn't been in great form has he, so MVG must be favourite. Hope Anderson wins it, but his doubles will probably mean that he doesn't.

The tungsten was of high quality last night.

Peter Wright may just be the answer from his half of the draw. He continues to play as he has been, and he'll likely get to the final.

Van Gerwen throwing awesome tungsten for first 3 sets, then going off boil a bit in 4th.

That's my only reservation about backing him, he does go through the occasional trough, and against a Lewis or Whitlock he could lose a vital set or two because of it.

Wade v Lewis will be a cracker - I'd like to see the winner win the title.

Hope so. Can't stand Wade for some reason I can't quite put my finger on.

I'm not a Lewis fan either.

Would like to see the 'beard to be feared' crowned the winner.

A new experience for Whitlock tonight. Turning up to a match in which his was the more sensible haircut.
