There's a movie released on Amy Winehouse called back to black.
I wonder if her character will be wearing the Aston Villa necklace that she always wore?

Went to see it Friday and yes, Marisa Abela, who plays Amy is wearing a Villa necklace, although, it's of the current badge (not round one) and not the one with the stripes that Amy wore but still good attention to detail to include it.

What a fucking dreadful comparison.

To be fair to the massive piece of carved boiled ham, I'm not unimpressed that he was able to rattle off both the name of our manager and have knowledge of what happened in the game yesterday.

I wouldn't have thought he'd be able to do either.

I admire your ability to find a silver lining. Of course he probably didn’t have either fact until it was given to him by an aide right before the interview.

He can't be the Unai Emery of politics, because I would run through a brick wall for Emery and I wouldn't give my last squirt of piss for Sunak.

Sunak is actually the Tim Sherwood of politics.

Aye.

Didn't seem to know the name of the Villa manager or who had scored our EC winning goal when he was ambushed by Sky News about it many moons ago.  And that was before his Ron Burgundy moment on the campaign trail in 2015.

I reckon the Remi Garde.

Supposedly the sensible option, after all the chaos of the couple that preceded him and was supposed to be the thoughtful, steadying grown-up.

Only for him to actually be just as shit as the others.

Does that mean we might have one more caretaker PM in the last couple of months of the election cycle? Who would be the Eric Black? If Anderson hadn't farted over to Repent, I would have put him forward.

BTW, anyone know if Willy and George were there the other night to guarantee a chance at the final tickets?

It's embarrassing enough having them in the stands, surely they wouldn't be welcome on the supporters' coach?!
