The Astros payroll for their Opening Day 25 man roster will be less that the Highlanders pay A-Rod for the season.

I recorded the Astros opening game against the Rangers last night and watched it this morning.

The Astros must the the most "no-name" team in major league history. However, they still beat the Rangers.

The live feed on MLB.com shows bright sunshine (albeit everyone looks well wrapped up) at the moment.

That was one hell of a shot by Rizzo.

It still doesn't look right seeing Youk in a Highlanders uniform.

However, it shows how they're struggling for players when he's batting clean-up.

Its only the first game of the season and neither team figure to make the playoffs but the Highlanders and Sox are playing a game that's just as slow as ever.

They've just finished four innings, whereas the Marlins and Nationals are in the bottom of the seventh already.
