Despite all the "Team GB" hysteria of the summer, I doubt that this country's Baseball team will get any coverage on TV.

Having watched Moneyball, I had a baseball query. I understand if a bowler keeps missing the target the batsman gets to "walk" to first base.

My query is, what happens if all the other batsmen are out? Does he get to walk all the way round or are the team classed as all out or what?

An innings for the batting side goes on until 3 batters are out. There are 9 batters and if the pitching team have a mare they can all bat multiple times in an inning.

They beat the Czech Republic but were beaten by Canada and Germany.

In the other qualifying group that's playing at the moment, the final is between Spain and Israel. If Israel win that game, its possible that Youuuuuuuuuuuk might play for them in the Finals proper

They often go through the batting order/line up 4 or 5 times (at bats) in a game, if you want to get into baseball start watching the post season games as they tend to be very entertaining and if you haven't picked a team yet... choose wisely!

Great choice as I am a Cubs fan and although they are well supported and have the greatest ballpark in the world they are quite crap at the moment, they have had a huge clearout of all the expensive dross (a bit like the MON regime) and Epstein the new man at the helm making the deals is going for youth, hungry players and lots of pitching (like Lambert except he doesn't go after pitchers).

We will hopefully be challenging for the playoffs in 2-3 years but with the money and a bit of luck the curse could be broken and if you get the chance get yourself to a game at Wrigley.
