I watched the Jays game on canadian tv and the sox looked good for a while but something is not right there, almost like the Villa

I took my 3 year old son to his first Yankee game at the stadium yesterday.  It ended up being rainy and about 40 degrees F.  (because of the weather we got free tickets to another game (which is customary when the Yankees play an official game in the rain).

But the Yankees won, so it was good.  He had a good time until about the 2nd pitch in the first inning when he realized that Mariano Rivera wasn't going to be in. 

He then asked me every 1.5 seconds when Mo was coming in...

...for 4 hours in the rain.


It was also probably the most costly game I have ever been too.

As for the Redsox (I haven't been on here in a while), they will be fine... unfortunately.

I know that he's been struggling but 2 earned runs over 7 innings against the Brewers seems OK. In fact, I think it qualifies as a "Quality Start".

One of the best things (well probably the only good thing) about being in the office by 06:15 these days is that I get to watch some of the West Coast games live.

This morning it was the Sox 11 inning victory over the "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in Orange County California". A preview of the one of the match-ups I'll see in Boston soon

However before that I'm going to hop on the "T" and go to Northeastern University's game against William & Mary (in keeping with today's Royal theme on H&V).
