Saw it live on TV while making my wife a cup of tea. Bud Selig didn't exactly show that he was pleased for Bonds now did he. I don't understand why he bothered going to the game if he was just going to do what he did. For all the controversy, I think his reaction was a little childish.

Oh, and Tom Glavine got win number 300 yesterday.

"The Unit's" about a dozen short (but old and injured). After that, it doesn't look like anyone else will ever reach 300 (not even Santana).

I quite like baseball.

I don't understand all the intricacies, but I've been to games at Fenway Park (which is a lovely stadium with the air of old English football grounds) and the Twins' stadium, and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Sitting around drinking for a few hours with something mildly entertaining going on in the background (which isn't cricket) is to be lauded.
