Payton wants his QB to run the play as called, whereas Wilson likes to improvise.

It was never going to work.

Largest dead cap in history.

Will have a near 50M cap hit in 2025!

About a million (mostly far worse than Fields) QBs have changed teams.

Makes me think we are genuinely waiting to see what Caleb is like before we make a decision on Fields.

Traded for Keenan Allen for a 4th Round Pick. He'll be 32 next month, but has never been a speedster and averaged over 95 yards per game last season.

Oh and some guy called Aaron Donald has retired.

Apparently turned down various offers, as Fields wanted to go to the Steelers.

Hopefully he beats out Wilson.

Do the Steelers have a decent Centre? Thought they were rubbish there, like we've been since Olin Kreutz retired.

a 6th round pick for Fields seems pretty poor business from Da Bears

Yep, not great for us. Could apparently have gotten more, but Fields would have beenout and out backup (guessing at the Eagles), so took offer from. Steelers.

Guess it doesn't hurt to show locker room that we've done right by such a popular player.

No, they badly need one.

Jackson Powers-Johnson maybe.

Can grab a WR later on.

Louis Rees-Zammit signs for the Chiefs, 3 years contract, too.

Also, Charlie Smyth (Who?) a gaelic footballer signs for the Saints as a kicker
