Why did Martinez get booked at halftime?

He pushed Joe in the chest.

There were a few verbals going on, but Emi was the only one who got handsy.
Not the best thing to do because it cut down his leeway for his standard late game antics
And Haaland pushed Emi but no card. Akanji committed about 5 fouls and at least 3 on Rogers but no card. Inconsistent refereeing.

Kind of surprised Rogers is on 4, he shouldn’t be playing where he does.
Why not?

My sentence was a grammatical disaster.  I'm just saying that I'm surprised he's on 4 yellows already.

Not really. We try to press from the front. He might be overenthusiastic in his challenges when pressing and / or being sold a dummy and getting frustrated. Once the player is passed him, any foul could be seen as deliberate to stop play from forming. Also I think at least one of them was moaning about a decision.
