4th September, apparently. We have derbies with Small Heath to "look forward to", again.

We lost in the semis of "World Sevens Football". Despite the name it is only English teams. Beat Tottenham 6-3 and West Ham 3-2 either side of losing 4-0 to Man U in the groups. Lost 8-2 to Chelsea in the semis.

Best player this year by all accounts. It feels like the women’s team is becoming a bit of an afterthought? Or is that harsh?

We don't know if there is some personal reason why she wants to be in London. If it is just a case of seeing them as more ambitious, though, it is a bit of a worrying sign. If we don't invest this summer a relegation battle looks likely.

Where's it all gone wrong?

They seemed to be buzzing last pre-season.

Is Arroyo's medicine taking time to have its effect? Or is she just out of her depth?

Yeah, I'm assuming there are plenty of places where it is pretty easy to commute from to both Bodymoor Heath and wherever Leicester Women train. This makes Daly more likely to stay, not less, IMO.

Would have been more problematic if she had moved to, say, Palace, Sunderland or the US League.

Tough start to the season. Chelsea away followed by Man City at home. We also have Arsenal and Man U in first six before hosting Blues on November 14th. We could easily go into that game without a win. Blues away is end of January and we finish the season at London City Lionesses, who may well be title contenders this season.
